the treatment for the story is:
James is the main character for show, he is a sgt at the NYPD or whatever city it needs to be set in.

James is a cop, a dirty one at that, he took bribes from everybody, but the day came when those that bribed him felt that it was the time to bury him, as they sent a hitman to do the job everything seemed to be going to plan until by some miracle the doctors manage to bring this cop back to life.
so now James knows what waiting for him on the other side and he decides to stay awake for as long as possible.

only one catch he is now in the city filled with those that he let out and the cops have found out.
